Communications Committee

The Communications Committee consists of three components:  CCI Review Newsletter, Telephone and Correspondence and Website Management.

CCI Review (Newsletter)

Purpose

  • Oversees the quarterly publication of CCIs newsletter
  • Acts as the liaison between the editor of the newsletter and CCI as a whole
  • Maintains subscription mailing lists and promotes subscriptions to the newsletter

Duties

  • Publishes the quarterly newsletter
  • Participates in the editing and layout of the newsletter
  • Helps distribute the newsletter to members as well as ensures that the publication is available online
  • Develops themes and requests articles based on those themes to be shared in the newsletter

Telephone & Correspondence

Purpose

  • Monitors and responds to queries, phone calls, and e-mails from the mailbox and toll-free phone line
  • Forwards such queries as necessary so that further action can be taken
  • Maintains the CCI phone and e-mail log

Duties

  • Listens to or views phone calls and e-mails throughout the day and responds to such queries as appropriate
  • Maintains tracking of queries, phone calls, and e-mails, and logs such information so that it is available at each CCI Board and general meetings

Webmaster/Web Services

Purpose

  • Maintains and updates the CCI website

Duties

  • Follows World Service and Region 5 web standards
  • Uploads current information about meetings, events, and other information important to our local area
  • Updates and reviews the content as well as the look and feel of the CCI website
